An urban school, University Terrace Elementary School (UT), is the educational home to approximately 500 pre-K through 5^th graders in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  The student body comes from 37 countries and they speak 26 languages.  A wall mural as you enter UT demonstrates the pride it has in its diversity.  It is a virtual United Nations, a worldwide blend of children from different cultures, religions and nationalities.  UT also has one of three English as Second Language (ESL) program in the Parish.
